We are an ALL-Breed in-home foster family affiliated with several rescue groups. We are responsible for providing a family environment, behavior rehabilitation and loving attention to the dogs we foster. Our rescue affiliates provide the costs of the medical care and treatments that may be needed. To see our current rescues, and get an adoption application, go to www.almosthomedogrescue.com Adoption of one of our rescues requires an application be filled out and approved, veterinary references and personal references verified, and a home visit to ensure that the places where the dog will be sleeping or while unsupervised are safe and comfortable. Most of these guys have been through some sort of hardship, abandonment or abuse. We feel it is our obligation to do everything we can to get them into the right home this time so that it is their last time and they can live our their days in security. Adoption donations run anywhere from $150-$250 to help cover the costs of the medical care and treatments needed. Every adopted dog leaves our care up-to-date on vaccinations, heartworm and flea treatments, micro-chipped, spayed/neutered and heartworm tested.
