Bark Park is an ALL-Breed and in-home foster family.

We are affiliated with and foster for, several different rescue groups. We are responsible for providing a family environment, behavior rehabilitation and loving attention to the dogs we foster. We also have some dogs that have come to us in need and do not have the support of a large rescue group to help with their ongoing necessities. These are the dogs you see posted on these pages.

Adoption of one of our rescues requires:

an Adoption Application to be filled out and APPROVED, veterinary references and personal references verified, and a home visit to ensure that the places where the dog will be sleeping or staying while unsupervised, are safe and comfortable.

Most of these guys have been through some sort of trauma, hardship, abandonment or abuse. We feel it is our obligation to do everything WE CAN DO to get them into the right home this time so that it is their last time and they can live out their days in security.

We reserve the right to refuse any application for any reason. Matches between applicants and dogs are NOT chosen on a first come-first serve basis. Again, the ultimate goal is to match the dog with the applicant that will best meet his or her individual needs, so that down the road some behavior trait doesn't get the dog sent away again whether to a shelter or another home.

Adoption donations run anywhere from $150-$250 to help cover the costs of daily necessities (food, treats, toys, food and water dishes, cleaners, paper towels) and the medical care and treatments needed.
